Seven Personalities Of Evangelism First Things First sermon series videos audios notes

We take a long look at the different ways and styles Jesus and others reached the lost. One or more of these evangelism styles is within you and is your personal power to find the lost. This power style is given you by God. Can we imagine how God, with perfect love for his children, must feel every day when his children are lost? He desperately wants to find them. He needs to hear from them. This is what Jesus teaches us about Father God. Jesus is a picture of Father God’s heart (Joh 1:18). Jesus had an odd value. It was sinners were important to God. Jesus’ being with lost people was more than an event. It was a value.

Seven Styles of Evangelism – Still Hope – sermon video audio notes

Evangelism – The people waited and waited and hoped and hoped. They walked around handing out photo copies and asking if anyone had seen their loved ones and if they would help them find their loved ones. Didn’t they know there is no way anyone could be alive under those tons of concrete and iron. Why wouldn’t they give up? They couldn’t give up. Those were their loved ones. To them there was still hope.

Seven Styles of Evangelism – Still Hope – sermon video audio notes

How many of us experience some degree of terror when we think about going to someone and, on purpose, share our faith about Jesus? Most of us experience terror in one degree or another. We want to talk about  this a little today.

How many of us experience some degree of terror when we think about going to someone and, on purpose, share our faith about Jesus? Most of us experience terror in one degree or another. We want to talk about  this a little today. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Relation Evangelism – sermon video audio notes`

People with a primary Relation style of evangelism have many friends. Some of their friends are sinners. Some of their friends are very religious. Some of their friends are very affluent. Some of their friends are poor. They enjoy getting together for meals or parties or for whatever reason. They were most likely “party goers” before they came to Jesus and enjoy entertaining. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Praying Evangelism – sermon video audio notes

How many of us honestly believe someone praying had something to do with your coming into the kingdom of God? Most of us believe prayer had something to do with our coming to Jesus. Why is that? What is it that prayer does that seems nothing else can do to bring people far from God and make them devoted followers of Jesus Christ? We want to talk about that today. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Confrontational Evangelism – sermon video audio notes

A person with a primary confrontational style of evangelism experiences something coming up inside of them and that something will quickly come out their mouth. They can’t seem to help it. It is a boldness that boils up from their spirit. It’s their power. The confrontational evangelism style is the boldest of all the styles. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Serving Evangelism – video audio notes

I hear of food being made and delivered to the sick. I hear of people cleaning houses and fixing cars and hauling furniture. Sometimes I am amazed and ask, ‘Why do they do this?’ I have the answer. I want you to know serving is an evangelistic power given you by the Holy Spirit and resident in you. Serving is your witness for Jesus. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Invitation Evangelism – sermon video audio notes

Most of us have used the invitation evangelism style along our journey. Nothing energizes us more than getting someone to come to church with us. Did we use the invitation to share what Jesus had done for us? We were probably so excited someone was coming we didn’t share our testimony. It was the testimony of the woman at the well making her invitation powerful. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Testimonial Evangelism – sermon video audio notes

The testimonial style evangelist has realized God took a life that was blind and begging and made it abundant. The power of the testimonial evangelism style is God took a person’s imperfections, even what some would consider God’s judgments, and displayed God’s marvelous works. God has used the bad, the negative, the failures, the ugly, and the broken to show how he can transform a life through Jesus. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.

Power of Intellectual Evangelism – sermon video audio notes

A person being religious does not mean that person is right (righteous) before God. A person can be sincere, but be sincerely wrong. This bothers the intellectual style person. The Pharisees were religious, but crucified Jesus. To an intellectual style person, being accurate is an important point. I have learned to not believe someone is right because they are religious. This style is in Seven Personalities Of Evangelism series.
