6- How Are The Gifts To Operate 1 – Spiritual gifts are always subject to the written word of God. They are always subject to the oversight ministry of the church. Flowing in the gifts is yielding a person’s members, i.e. tongue. Spiritual gifts are always governed by love. They are for edification or building up the body of Christ.
