1. Deacon Part 1 Audio

In every church, there are three groups of people – Bishops (leadership), Deacons (servants), and Saints. Each Christ follower fits into one of these three groups.

2. Deacon Part 2 Audio

The Greek word “diakonos” translated “deacon” is found about 30 times in the New Testament. Most of those are translated as “minister.” A deacon is a ministering servant.

3. Deacon Part 3 Audio

Deacon Part 3. A church is to be a pillar of truth for its city. Without correct leadership this will not happen. A deacon is an attendant or a waiter. A deacon must be a proper example in the church.

Philippians 1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Philippians 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
