Arise In Violence – sermon video audio notes
Often, we have a misconception of the kingdom of God. We think the kingdom is a place with no battles, and everything is perfect and exactly as we want it to be. This assumption just isn’t valid. We must rise in violence in the kingdom. We are overthrowing the kingdom of darkness, and we must have an attitude of spiritual aggressiveness to POSSESS THE KINGDOM.
Finding Life’s Rahabs – sermon video audio notes
I want to talk to you about Finding Life’s Rahabs. If you know who Rahab was, you may question my title. Nonetheless, to POSSESS THE KINGDOM, we must Find Life’s Rahabs. Also, we must realize we will be a Rahab to many. The encounter with Rahab is a divine encounter. It’s in Joshua the Book.
Get Your Feet Wet – video audio notes
My title today is Get Your Feet Wet. I take it from Joshua 3:8. My point is simple. To begin supernatural things happening in your life and living the victorious life you desire, you must Get Your Feet Wet. You must stand in the water – God’s Word and the Spirit. It’s in Joshua the Book.
Hill of the Foreskins – sermon video audio notes
God told Joshua and the people to prepare for battle, but not by running war games and sharpening their swords and arrows. Instead, they were to sharpen knives for the surgery of CIRCUMCISION of foreskins. Before God can do a work out there through us, he must do a work on our hearts in us. Are you willing to expose your heart to God and allow him to touch it with his knife? It’s in Joshua the Book.

Possessing Your Jericho – sermon video audio notes
The fall of Jericho is a lesson in the obedience necessary to take the Jerichos of our lives, but it’s more than that. Also, it’s a lesson in the prophetic. The Hebrew word translated Jericho is Yeriychow, which means fragrant. As an illustration, how many of us would like to capture the fragrance of life? How about the fragrance of health or the aroma of prosperity, and how about the smell of a new car or truck? Capturing your Jerico fills your life with the beautiful fragrance of the abundant life. It’s in Joshua the Book.
Finding the Achan in Me – sermon audio notes
What principle would the Lord want us to grasp from Achan’s actions? We cannot touch, take, participate in, or be around some things. We must separate some things from our stuff and see them as the Lord’s. Win battles by separating the Lord’s possessions from our stuff.
Ai the 3-Way Ambush – sermon video audio notes
Interestingly, the battle was not to be fought at Ai or in the city. They were to fight in a different location. The principle is we cannot expect victory over our bondages, addictions, weaknesses, etc. when they (the enemies) determine where we war. For example, having a financial problem and expecting to defeat it by test-driving new cars is very difficult. It’s tough to overcome sexual addictions by looking at pornography. Also, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to overcome alcoholism by frequenting bars.

Redeeming the Gibeonites in Me – sermon video audio notes
I relate to the Gibeonites in that I don’t want to live a destroyed and devoured life like others. We come to the Lord and bring all our deceitful ways with us when we come. None of us came to the Lord all clean and pure; for that fact, no one is all clean and pure now. How many are happy the Lord made a covenant with us even though we were carrying some cracked wineskins, moldy bread, and worn-out sandals of deceit? Aren’t you glad God wants to REDEEM THE GIBEONITE IN US? It’s in Joshua the Book.
Hamstring the Horses – sermon video audio notes
In this battle, Joshua instructed the warriors to focus on the horses and chariots before focusing on the actual warriors. The children of God were to go for the horses first. As a horse-drawn chariot passed, the children of God were to Hamstring The Horses. The tendon and muscles in the back of the thigh were severed, crippling the horse and removing its ability to maneuver well. By doing this, the enemy lost its ability to maneuver. Sometimes, we are not to attack the obvious but rather immobilize the enemy. There are things in our lives that need to be hamstrung. Hamstring The Horses? It’s in Joshua the Book.
Give Me My Mountain – sermon video audio notes
Caleb boldly walked up to Joshua and said, Give Me My Mountain. If you could walk up to Jesus right this moment and say, ‘Give Me My __________’ what would it be? Do you know what your Mountain is? Our lives exist to accomplish something. You were born to possess a mountain. What is your mountain? It’s in Joshua the Book.
