Pride fills us with ourselves, and when we are full of self, there’s no room for anyone else. It makes me important alone and selfish and lessens the importance of people. But, the bottom line of pride is it stops me from hearing the Spirit of God, stops me from loving God, receiving God’s love for me, and lessens the importance of God in my life.
