The Gospel of Luke Chapter 17 – We presented three messages from this chapter titled: Do Your Duty, Were Not All Ten Cleansed, and Son Of Man Said Do Not Go Running After Them. Teaching about the Son of Man is enjoyable. The Lord often used the term in a “coming again” and “this generation” context, referencing himself. Though not fully comprehended today, Jesus’ contemporaries understood it well. In fact, when Jesus employed this term at his trial, it led to his crucifixion.

Do Your Duty – video audio notes Luke 17:1-10
Forgiving is our duty; it doesn’t demand superpower faith. The key is to do what we know is right—forgive. It’s an obligation, a duty of a servant of God. Though challenging, especially for disciples of Jesus Christ, forgiving is part of our duty. So, do your duty—forgive!
Were Not All Ten Cleansed? video audio notes Luke 17:11-19
At times, God calls for our obedience as a catalyst to ignite our faith. Consider Naaman, whom God cleansed of leprosy. Elisha instructed him to wash seven times in the Jordan River (2 Kings 5:10). Similarly, Jesus directed a man born blind to wash in the Pool of Siloam (John 9:7) and commanded a paralytic to rise, take his mat, and go home (Mark 2:9). You might sense the Lord guiding you to a specific action. This isn’t merely a task; it’s a divine invitation to activate your faith and usher in your miracle. The imperative is clear— do it.
Son Of Man Said Do Not Go Running After Them – video audio notes Luke 17:20-37
Do Not Go Running After Them Luke 17:20-37 audio video notes. Speaking about those who make end-of-the-world predictions, Jesus the son of man said, Do not go running after them. Though warned, many people did then and continue to now go running after them. When you hear the doom and gloom predictions do not go running off after them.
