Workers Of Witchcraft Part 2 Balaam lived 1,500 years before the Son of Man spoke this to a New Testament church. However, the spirit of Balaam lived on. If this wicked spirit lived then it lives now. The Lord said He would come with a sword if this church did not deal with the teachings of Balaam.

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Numbers 31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
Numbers 25:9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
