Book Of Numbers Chapter 2:1-9

Book Of Numbers Chapter 2:1-9. The Lord was very specific how He arranged His people. The Lord has us camped in churches where He wants us. Each tribe had a specific view of the Tabernacle. There was a massive amount of people likely in a ten mile radius circling the tabernacle. The original plan was around a two year journey, however it took around forty years. It should take a believer around two years to develop and get into their promised land of abundance, but how long does it take most believers? The saddest thing is many never get in. They die children of God, but never enter their Promised Land.

In the wilderness we learn to trust God. He provided for two-million people for forty years. This would be around six-million pounds of manna per day. There was also the need for water to drink, water the animals, bathe, etc. Paul talked about the rock that followed them (1Co 10:4). They learned to trust God.

Numbers 2:1-9

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
4 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
5 And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.

6 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
7 Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.
8 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9 All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.

Psalms 105:36-38

36 He also struck down all the firstborn in their land, The first fruits of all their vigor.
37 Then He brought them out with silver and gold, And among His tribes there was not one who
stumbled.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed, For the dread of them had fallen upon them

Psalms 105:39-41

39 He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to illumine by night.
40 They asked, and He brought quail, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock and water flowed out; It ran in the dry places {like} a river.

Psalms 105:42-45

42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.

Exodus 16:20-21

20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
