1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Psalms 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.”

(KJV) Psalms 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Jonah 2:1 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God.
2 He said: “In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry.

Jonah 2:9 But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD.”
10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Romans 1:21, 24

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

Romans 1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
