1- Parents should always prayerfully consider any relationship no matter the child’s age.

2- Teach your child to recognize character qualities.

3- Honesty and truthfulness.

4- Faithfulness to God and other relationships.

5- Personal presentation.

6- Parent’s should break off any relationship distracting your child from: God, Parents, Church, school/academics, good friends.

7- Always listen to the other spouse/parent.

8- Give clear guidelines/boundaries. Ask where they are going. Ask who’s driving. Who’s going with you?

9- Encourage your child to be with several other people.

10- Teens in high school should be discouraged from any emotional relationships.
