Coming in number 7 is 7 Handling Overly Needy People: How to Set Healthy Boundaries, with nearly 5,000 YouTube views. Handling Overly Needy People How to Set Healthy Boundaries teaches that overly needy people will drain your emotions, time, and resources if you allow it. They often refuse to help themselves, creating constant crises. Without boundaries, you enable their habits and addictions. Christians should be generous, but wisdom must guide generosity. Healthy limits protect you from guilt and burnout. When you set clear boundaries, you help others grow rather than contribute to their ongoing dependency.
Here at Life Gate, we do a good job giving help to needy people. We have our alms account specifically set up to help, but I must admit that often we give to the “OVERLY NEEDY” and not those in need. What I mean by OVERLY NEEDY PEOPLE is people we attempt to help, but who do not help themselves. They are the habitually needy. They consistently find themselves in constant need and if you allow them, they will suck your life and your resources out of you.
