About Pastor Delbert Young

Pastor Delbert Young was born in Miami, Florida, and later lived in Griffin, Georgia, before settling in LaFayette, Georgia, in 1985. His commitment to faith and education is evident in his academic achievements. Pastor Young holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies, an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, and several other ministerial and theological citations. This diverse educational background has equipped him with a strong foundation for both ministry and practical leadership.

Ministry and Leadership 

In 1985, Pastor Young became the pastor of Life Gate Ministries, where he dedicated himself to teaching, preaching, and guiding his congregation. Over the years, he authored numerous books, many of which have been published by Life Gate Church and used as study guides for his teachings. His passion for sharing the message of the Kingdom of God extended beyond the pulpit. Pastor Young produced local television programs, radio programs, and daily radio spots, making his teachings accessible to a broader audience.

Today, Pastor Delbert Young serves as the Online Campus Pastor at Northstar Church in Panama City, Florida. In this role, he continues to minister to people, sharing the message of the Kingdom of God and inspiring others to grow in faith and knowledge.

Personal Life of Pastor Delbert Young

Pastor Young has been married to his wife, Judy, since 1967. Together, they have built a strong partnership in ministry and life. They are the proud parents of a son and a daughter, both married, and are blessed with four grandsons.
