As a horse’s bit directs, turns, and makes the horse obey its rider, our words direct, turn, and cause life to obey us. Exactly as a ship’s rudder sets its navigational course, your words set the course of life as we navigate through it.
I don’t know if you noticed in the intro/transition video, but the definition of “‘WORDS'” is a noun, pl. a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal CARRIER of meaning.” By definition, a word is a “carrier.” Your words literally carry the meaning of your life and future events within them. If you’ve never heard teachings on the power of words, this will be eye-opening for you. If you have heard teaching, you need to hear it again. I know these things, but find myself sending wrong things into my future in my words. I’ll show you how powerful and creative your words are from the Bible in the coming weeks.

Blessing, High Praise, Fine Discourse, Polished Language, Invocation – sermon video
You bless your life with your words of praise, commendation, and high praise. Using polished words you send a blessing into your future. God has made you wonderful. You are awesome and special. You invoke blessings into your future when you get your mouth aligned with who God says you are and see yourself as God sees you.
We create your eternity with our words. By what are we justified and acquitted? Your words. By our lack of sin(s)? No. By your words. Don’t misread or mishear me. We can sin ourselves into hell and never say a word, but there is something enormously powerful about your destiny today, your future destiny, and your eternity concerning your words. That’s the Creative Power of Words!
We’ve seen our words, by definition, are “carriers.” They carry and create blessings into our futures, or they carry and create cursing into our futures. Here’s a part of what we read last time.
